i hate to say this, you know i don't like the guy, but he had a reason. his family was being threatened so he took a pointer from the self-sacrificing hero hand book and decided the descent to the underworld was worth it. he'll come back, clary. i know you said he thinks he's one of the bad guys, but he isn't.
sure he reminds me of craig from algebra who always made me do his homework because he couldn't understand why there were 'letters in his math', but he isn't overthrow the world order bad.

i understand, why you'd want to, and hey if anyone deserves an ass kicking by clary freaking fray it's him. we'll stop him. together, like we do everything.

You didn't see how he was acting in the Institute, he was acting like a totally different person, like finding out that Valentine was his father changed who he was completely. How can someone truly believe that?? Valentine is my father and I'm not running around being a bad guy!
What if he decides he is that bad?
When Valentine told jace I almost had a chance, to kill him. Jace hesitated and then he got away but I don't think I would have. And I'm not sure if that scares me or not, y'know? Is that who I am now? Someone who can kill people? Jace thinks he's got darkness in him but I know if I had killed Valentine it would have saved people.
Sorry, I didn't mean to get that deep I just felt like anyone else would judge me. Thanks, it really means a lot that you have my back.
